Bright Zinc Plating is a process of galvanizing where a protective coat of zinc is applied to the bolt to prevent rusting.  It forms a coating of zinc which, when intact, prevents corrosive substances from reaching the underlying metal.

Uses include the fixing of components where a rust free screw is recommended.  The zinc serves as a sacrificial anode so that even if the coating is scratched, the exposed steel will still be protected by the remaining zinc.  For pack quantities please see the product description above.
